Because squat motion is a multi-joint dynamic movement, we believe that the frequency analysis of EMG signal would not be a reliable parameter that evaluates fatigue. In this study, we gave all participants repetitive isometric back extension task hold with a weight of 198N and consider back muscle of a participant was fatigued when the participant was no longer able to maintain the position of the back extension for more than 30 s.
